The Belgian-born Rene Magritte easily fused with the tendencies overwhelming early 1900’s and shortly got recognized as one of the most eminent representatives of Surrealistic movement.

After exhausting his surrealistic inspirations while mixing a plethora of objects in his various works, Magritte introduced some impressionism-focused researches as well (The Forbidden Universe), however, his inner vision made him shortly return to his roots, the main purpose and objective of which suggested dismantling the real dimensions for recreating afterwards the world desiderated by the artist.
