Keith is a celebrated American sculptor, artist, and a muralist. He reigned in the 20th century where together with other artists they introduced a unique element of popular culture. Keith invented and formulated techniques of street-based artworks i.e., murals and graffiti. He ensured that his artwork was done in artificial and bright colours and kept them available and easily accessible to the public to sermon the minds and the eyes of the viewers. This way those who viewed were able to engage very crucial concerns and also get to experience a whale of a time.

Keith together with Kenny Scharf and Jean-Michael Basquiat paired and tried to formulate possible ways that cartoony and straightforward elements done by artists that are not well schooled or those that are self-taught could be appreciated.

Haring’s art majored on texts that provided crucial information on issues that revolved illicit love, apartheid, and AIDS. Since he was both an activist and an artist he proved that painting issues that affect the society could be more enjoyable to do. He realized that the information intended to be conveyed to the masses was lively when it was instead communicated through vivid and fresh cartoony images that are creatively done in different colours.

Keith’s commitments to use simple images to deliver messages gave birth to new life in the industry of painting. His way of approach on things was exclusively different to the more conceptual and abstract tactics that were previously implemented in the past generation. His work was more expressionistic and drew attention.

The artist came up with a proof that there was a possibility of utilizing those public sites that were idle to do art and even convey political contexts to a broad audience. Not once not twice Keith lent public streets to do his artwork which he later refined it into excellent art museums and galleries.

Keith will forever be remembered for his inspiration to the new generation of all street and gallery artists.
