James Wiens is a professional artist born and raised in the rugged landscapes of British Columbia, the talented artist’s works have been heavily influenced by his love of the outdoors, James expresses his passion for roaming the hills and lakes through his vividly detailed oil paintings of this beautiful raw landscape he grew up in.

James studied at the Emily Carr College of Art & Design in Vancouver, earning a diploma in printmaking and painting. He has combined his formal education with many years of Passionate painting experimenting with a variety of methods and media to come up with the distinctive style seen in his artwork today.
