Red Composition by Jackson Pollock

Jackson Pollock’s Red Composition, created in 1946, is a mesmerising explosion of colour, movement and spontaneous expression. Its intense red ground pulses beneath a vigorous network of black lines and splashes, punctuated by flashes of yellow, blue, green and white. The result is an artwork filled with rhythm and tension, offering a fascinating glimpse into Pollock’s developing action painting technique and his belief in the physical act of painting as a form of expression.
