Most marks can be easily removed by running a duster over the canvas or giving it a light clean with the vacuum cleaner using the brush to get rid of any dust on the surface. If the mark is still there then you can wipe the canvas gently using a plain white wet cloth, try not to do this too often though as with time this will affect the colour quality of the canvas, remember that gently is the operative word here.
Try to avoid bright, direct light as over time the rays may cause some fading, this is a sure fire why to tell the difference between a good canvas print and a cheaper made one, our canvases will resist direct sunlight without any effects for 5 times as long as cheaper, imported canvas prints.
Whatever you do don’t add any cleaning agents to the cloth as these can easily affect the inks and laminate. A customer that had tried to clean their canvas with bleach obviously with disastrous results once contacted us.
We use the highest-grade canvas inks and laminate. The canvas prints have been treated with an invisible laminate to protect them from both scratches and UV rays. This will help them to last for up to 70 years or more and still look as vibrant as the day you bought them.
