Description

John James Audubon’s “Blue Jay”, this is a print of the original engraving and hand coloured aquatint from the Birds of America, Plate 102, created between 1827 – 1838. Blue Jay demonstrates John James Audubon’s mastery at creating lively compositions which he developed from both direct observation and the specimens he collected. The image depicts two female and one male blue jay feasting on the eggs of an unidentified bird.

As with all our art, this piece can be delivered in a variety of formats from a stretched canvas print, rolled canvas or printed on high-quality paper for you to frame.

Thank you so much for the beautiful canvas of our beautiful granddaughter. I had a bad day at work but when I came home to find the canvas I had a tear.

I just wanted to say how thrilled I was when my train banner (Flinders st to Altona) arrived yesterday. It is exactly what I thought it would look like, and the quality in the finish and the framing is perfect! There is one minor problem however……..it was supposed to be a Christmas present for my hubby, but as soon as I got it I had to put it up on the wall!!! Now I need to find another chrissy pressie!! Many thanks for a great job
