On Aug. 13 in 1975, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band commenced a 5 night, 10 show run at New York’s Bottom Line club. This event attracted major press attention and was broadcast live on radio, it finally convinced many sceptics that Springsteen was the real deal. Decades later Rolling Stone magazine would mention this show as one ‘50 Moments That Changed Rock n Roll’. Straight after the show, Springsteen released the album Born to Run.
