A high-quality print of a classic piece of art by Camille Pissaro painted in 1898. The artwork takes in the bustling Place du Théâtre-Francais an area of Paris near the Comedie Francaise, however, despite the title of the artwork, the theatre itself is not captured within the painting.
Camille Pissarro was a French-Danish impressionist and neo-impressionist painter, he was born on the island of St Thomas which is now known as the US Virgin Islands. He was a huge contributor to both the impressionism and post-impressionism movements, he later took on the style of neo-impressionism at the age of 54.
