Buy a Print of Madeleine Bernard by Gauguin. This is a print of a portrait of Madeleine Bernard by Paul Gauguin. Madeleine was the sister of Emile Bernard, a fellow artist and co-founder – along with Gauguin of the Synthetic symbolism movement. Emile and Gauguin started off as great friends but ended up as bitter enemies. Paul Gauguin or Eugène Henri Paul Gauguin was a French Post-Impressionist artist who sadly achieved no notoriety until after his death in 1903. Gauguin is now recognised as an important figure of the Symbolist movement through his work as a printmaker, writer, ceramist, painter and sculptor. We are adding a number of stunning prints of original Gauguin pieces so keep checking back for more. We have an ever-expanding classic art category which you can view here.
As with all our art on this website this product is available in a variety of formats, the most popular being the stretched canvas print & framed prints, however, the product can also be bought as a rolled canvas (no support frame), paper print, wall decal (wall sticker) and floating frame (our most premium product combining a canvas print and a framed print).
