Artwork Description

Surf Break Matt Day Split Diamond Artwork. Located at Avalon Surf Break, Wannanup, Western Australia. This unique photograph looks down on the Surf Break at Avalon Beach. Avalon beach commences on the northern side of the beach rock reef. The reef continues north as the shoreline curves to the east forming a protected 1.2 km long west-facing embayment. Waves break on the reef, which lies up to 200 m offshore. You can see the original single panel artwork here. We also have this image in a 3 & 4-panel format.

Matt Day is a self-taught photographer that specialises in Aerial Photography, originally from the Gold Coast, Queensland and currently living in Perth, Western Australia. The majority of his photography showcases the picturesque beaches and landscapes that Western Australia has to offer. Matt has spent most of the last 10 years in the cockpit of a plane scouting new landscapes to explore & photograph.
